OUR STORY

My name is Dylan Andrews, and I’m the founder of Summit School of Music.
 

When I was a kid learning to play the guitar, I didn’t have the opportunity to take lessons. I had to figure it all out on my own, and honestly, I always wished I had a teacher who could guide me, encourage me, and make music as fun as I imagined it could be.
 

That experience is exactly why I built Summit School of Music, so kids (and adults!) could have the kind of music school I wish I had growing up. A place where learning an instrument is about more than just playing the right notes.
 

I believe music lessons can be life-changing. They build confidence, focus, and resilience. They provide students with positive role models, a sense of community, and a skill that lasts a lifetime.
 

From a small group of students learning in a single space, Summit has grown into a thriving school with a team of passionate teachers—all dedicated to helping our students succeed in music and life.
 

Every day, I get to see shy kids gain confidence, adults rediscover their love for music, and students light up as they hit milestones they never thought possible. 
 

And that’s why I love what I do.
